About Well Hungarians __________________________ Well Hungarians

Out of the Midwest, nearly fifteen years ago, rode this quintet of virtuoso players whose lyrics and music reflect the wit, pathos and contemporary pounding rhythms of country music as well as a unique flair for classic rock 'n' roll. Not merely a Midwest phenomenon, Well Hungarians have traveled the country entertaining and impressing audiences with creative covers and outstanding original songs.

With a song list containing well over one hundred classic to contemporary cuts, their range of cover work moves from The Charlie Daniels Band to ZZ Top, from Alan Jackson to Crosby, Stills and Nash, from Kenny Chesney to America, from Keith Urban to The Eagles, from Rascal Flatts to Bad Company and the legendary kings of country cross-over, Lynyrd Skynyrd. Well Hungarians have shared the stage with most of the artist they cover and others such as Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Tracy Lawrence, Trace Adkins, Little River Band, America and a couple of dozen more.

Original works of music such as the title cut from the CD "Sorry 'bout the Mess" reflect genuine Southern Americana storytelling as does "Mama Was a Train" and "Winfield Ferry". Irony is not lost on the Well Hungarians in songs such as "Why Can't We All Just Get Along", an ode to contemporary chaos that you can't keep from Texas two-steppin' across the floor with your favorite boot-skootin' partner. This is merely testament to the depth and range of this truly extraordinary collection of musicians.

Along their journey they have had four consecutive singles hit the two major country charts from two CD's, "Sorry 'bout the Mess" and "Framed", receiving air play not only in the U.S. but ten other countries. No doubt, Well Hungarians spot-on harmonies, lush and effervescent, have a great deal to do with their wide appeal. One cannot hear the crystal clear blending without thinking Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Eagles and Alabama.

It is their harmonies, musicianship and the fact that they are one of the tightest bands in the country that have garnered Well Hungarians finalists in the 2002 Jim Beam Unsigned Artist competition (it took Keith Anderson to beat them); Best Country Band in St. Louis by the Riverfront Times Reader's Poll in 2004 and "Best Country Group" Award in 2006 by New Music Weekly Magazine. They have made multiple appearances at the County Music Association Music Fest commonly known as Fan Fair.

With more than 240 performances a year and having performed before more than 1,000,000 fans in their career the Well Hungarians well deserve to headline your next event.
