About Spectrum __________________________ Spectrum

Spectrum is a professional seven-piece band that has been specializing in wedding receptions, corporate parties, and public events for over 15 years. Their goal has always been to provide fun and professional musical entertainment to diverse audiences by presenting a wide variety of music with a combination of high quality sound, performance, and presentation.

It's always fun to see Spectrum perform live and witness the professionalism that they bring to each social gathering. They invite you to come to one of their performances and see for yourself what a fantastic time your guests will have at your event. A web page cannot give you an accurate impression of the true impact or scope of this band, their emceeing abilities, or show you how the band dresses and interfaces with the audience utilizing wireless microphones and guitars. They love to perform and have fun on stage, which always has a contagious effect on their audiences. When they hand out the inflatable guitars and get the audience involved it's a sight that you won't soon forget. These things and many others, which cannot be transferred to a web page, are very important factors contributing to the success of your event.

The instrumentation of Spectrum consists of female and male lead vocals, guitar, bass, saxophone, trumpet, keyboards, and drums. They also use a flute, trombone, additional trumpet and saxophone, harmonica, and Latin percussion instruments during their performances. You may have already seen their female vocalist when she starred in the lead role as Sandy in the local production of the musical Grease. In addition to the experience that only years of performing can provide, they possess advanced music theory & voice degrees and a new high quality sound system that can accommodate almost any facility. Standard attire is formal tuxedo or they can be as casual as you like.

Just a quick note about wedding receptions. This event requires unique skills such as introductions, emceeing, coordinating the throwing of the bouquet, addressing specific wishes of the bride and groom, coordinating with a photographer to satisfy their special needs, etc. Spectrum has extensive experience in this area and can make any wedding reception the best it can possibly be. The variety of their comprehensive song list allows them to satisfy any audience. They are also willing to learn, rehearse, and perform any special song that you would like to have included, e.g., bride-groom first dance, father-daughter dance, etc. Spectrum wants you to be happy and completely satisfied.
