About SH-BOOM
SH-BOOM is an 8-piece rock 'n roll nostalgia band performing the greatest hits of the 50's, 60's, and early 70's. In 1998 SH-BOOM celebrated 15 years of performing together.
Versatile Musicians
Performing together since 1983, this energetic ensemble includes a male vocal quartet, two guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, and saxophone. Seven of the eight musicians sing lead vocals, demonstrating a dramatic range from deep bass to soaring tenor.
Well-Known "Guest Stars"
In addition to performing songs by the top rock 'n' roll groups of the 50's and 60's, SH-BOOM also presents comedic re-creations of the artists themselves. Superstars from the era like Sonny & Cher, Elvis, the Blues Brothers, Ike & Tina, Johnny Cash, the Supremes, Jim Morrison, Freddy Mercury (Queen), James Brown, Paul & Paula, Buddy Holly and many more, all choreographed and professionally costumed.

With over 350 songs from 300 artists, you're not likely to see the same show twice. Choreography and props are used to keep audiences continuously entertained.
Wide-Range of Venues
SH-BOOM adapts to a wide-variety of venues including fairs, festivals, conventions, parish and school fundraisers, Caribbean cruises, benefits, nightclubs, car shows, company picnics and much more. SH-BOOM has proven popular with theme-oriented events like 50's soc hops and 60's nights. The acappella quartet has also performed the National Anthem at many professional sporting events including St. Louis Cardinals baseball St. Louis Blues hockey, St. Louis Ambush soccer, and St. Louis University Billikens basketball. For smaller venues such as luncheons and such, the vocal quartet performing acappella may be just what you are looking for.
