Jeff Jarrett, Talent Executive / Producer
Jeff Jarrett began his career at St. Louis University, where he promoted DreamWorks films for four years. While still in college, he landed an internship with Undertow Music in Chicago. He was responsible for advancing concert tours and retail, working with, amongst others, members of acclaimed rock band Wilco. Upon his return to St. Louis in 2002, Jarrett accepted a management position with St. Louis rock band Nadine. He eventually landed them a record deal with Trampoline Records (an upstart label founded by Pete Yorn and the Wallflowers), and earned them support slots on prestigious tours with Chuck Prophet, Freedy Johnston, the Thrills, and Richard Thompson. Jarrett and Nadine then spent time on the road with Pete Yorn, the Wallflowers, Minnie Driver, Liz Phair, and the Minus 5 (featuring Peter Buck of R.E.M.), touring venues ranging from theatres to private appearances for executives at Microsoft. |
